'GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO CAUTION SECURITY OFFICERS' says TASUED students
Speaking with the Student Union Government President of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun on the recent clash between the students and the Officers of the Special Anti Robbery Squad which led to the students destroying the officers' car because of the unlawful arrest the STUDENTS.
IS THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT AWARE OF THEIR VISIT?

WHY WAS THE OFFICERS OF THE SPECIAL ANTI ROBERY SQUAD IN THE SCHOOL PREMISES?
They claimed they came for an arrest which they didn't inform the security operatives on campus.
WAS THERE ANY CLASH BETWEEN THE STUDENTS AND THE SARS OFFICERS BEFORE THIS TIME?
There was no clash, none of such in the past.
WHAT TRIGGERED THE STUDENTS' ACTION?
The students have been complaining about the activities of the special anti robbery squad activities for a while now. We also have channeled all complaints to the necessary quarters and on this day, they chased one of us into the campus and even had gut to release riffle into the atmosphere. This prompted students to stand against this unprofessional act.
WAS THERE ANY INJURED STUDENT?
No student was injured.
WERE STUDENTS ARRESTED DURING AND AFTER THE SCENERIO?
Some students were arrested before the scenario but were later released.
WHAT IS THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT'S DECISION ABOUT THE ACT?
The management frowned against illegal arrest of any student on campus.
WAS THE CASE REPORTED AT ANY POLICE STATION?
The case has been reported to the Area Commander Office at Igbeba.
HOPE STUDENTS WON'T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE BURNT CAR?
The students won't be responsible for any damages.
WHAT ARE STUDENT'S EXPECTATION FROM THE GOVERNMENT CONCERNING THIS ISSUE?
The students are expecting the government to ensure sanity is passed to the security operatives.
