Hon. Murphy Adigun Hammed Congratulates Oba Ladoja on Confirmation as 44th Olubadan

The Mogaji of Ile-Ado Compound, Hon. Murphy Adigun Hammed, has joined thousands of well-wishers to celebrate the confirmation of High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement released by his media team, Hon. Murphy described Oba Ladoja’s confirmation as “a remarkable testament to patience, commitment, and unwavering dedication to the progress of Ibadanland and its people.”

Hon. Murphy, who is by God’s grace a hopeful candidate for the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency in 2027, noted that the former governor’s journey to the revered throne was nothing short of divine orchestration, despite the hurdles he faced along the way.

> “His emergence as the 44th Olubadan is indeed a divine arrangement. The path has been bumpy and filled with trials, yet his faith and perseverance have brought him here. Rising through the 36-rung hierarchy of the Ibadan chieftaincy system, one of the most organized in Yorubaland, is no small feat,” Murphy stated.

The two-term Honourable of Akinyele Constituency 2 and former Chief Whip expressed confidence that Oba Ladoja’s reign would usher in an era of peace, fairness, and sustainable progress in Ibadanland. He described the ascension as a sacred responsibility, while also commending the Olubadan-in-Council for their steadfastness in ensuring a smooth transition.

Hon. Murphy further congratulated the people of Ibadanland on this historic moment, praying that God grants the new Olubadan divine wisdom and guidance to lead successfully.
